| i am bored. So bored that essentially i am writing a post that no one will (probably) read. If you do read this, i hope it bores you like a drill to it's wood. Yeah, just like that. Muah ha ha. Hehem. Shall i continue? (Yes, i shall indeed!) Has the phrase "only boring people are bored" ever bothered you before? I heard someone say it to someone (i don't believe it was me, perhaps it was) once and since then i have not been able to say "i'm bored" without thinking about the previous accusation. i now try not to even say that i am bored. Does that mean that i secretly find myself to be a boring person? And i fear that by admitting my boredom i am also admitting that i am indeed a terribly boring person incapable of thinking of anything worthwhile to do with my time! No. I consider myself to be rather entertaining and rather capable of entertaining myself. i spend the majority of my time by myself these days and am surprisingly bored quite seldomly. There are many ways in which one can entertain themself. For me it's through a poorly gripped pencil and some paper, a book, a computer, or a mirror at which i can sit and make strange faces at myself for hours (rather, more honestly, minutes) Or perhaps, in this case, boredom itself can lead to a time-filling activity capable of entertaining me for a fair chunk of time. Anyways, today i am bored. Yet i do not think that today i am boring. The phrase just bothers me. Whoever said those words ought not to have said them in my presence.
(Forgive me if you have never heard this treacherous little phrase before and if now it bothers you as well. Sorry)
| That was some fiiiiiine guitar playin'. shooooebaby | | |
| ha. that title was a wee bit more clever than anticipated. but only a wee...come on people... get serious, it was not funny. haha.
Some Thought:: i tend to drive to the places i need to go...but now that it has snowed i find that i'd rather freeze my butt off and walk to my destination. this is a little backwards don't you think? i just really like snow! and i'm cool with being cold. being bundled and cozy is high on my list of ..uh... great things.
Something I) need to purchase (is) an ice-scraper. i proceeded to clean the snow and ice off my car yesterday with... yes.... a shoe box. it worked surprisingly well. it also aided in my tossing heaps of snow on Jessi. she "loved" it. muah ha ha.
Some Nothing::
Some-No-Thing: "No means No."
Ouch:: SHsomethingOE
Some Things to Do:: i'm not sure about when i am getting home. hmm.. i was jsut assigned Another drawign project. it's a doozy...i think. adn eventually i need to cause a ruckus in the woods with some boulders (that is a niiiiice boulder!) and string and a camera for my 3D project. site-specific installation here i come. so my ride home may be delayed longer than i would like it to be. gar.
Need Nots/Need Knots/Kneading/Knead Knots:: i need not to be bothered with assignments, i want to make My projects. thought, i'll admit projects often inspire many other ideas. i need knots... i need to know how to tie cool ones... i have this new fascination with string. don't ask...i have no answers as to why. other than it's crazy how many different things you can do with it..and how many things your can get tangled in it... also, i'd like to make some bread. (there's your 'knead') i came home today and smelled toast, and i first thought, " WOW, if that were teh smell of fresh bread baking it would be even more amazing." someday my home is going to smell of delicious bread. and on other days vanilla cake. oh!!! and laundry. gosh i love smelling. i should make a loaf of vanilla bread frosted in downy. not to eat of course, just to smell. oh! and i anticipate a lot of kneading of knots ont eh backs of family members and friends upon my return to the homestead for break. my hands are gonna be swollen again, can't wait....they deserve some lovin'. perhaps to save my hands the knots should be kneed.
Some things need food:: and that's me. right now. shooooebaby i'm hungry. shoebaby. HA.
happy lunching, happy day. Toodles and Noodles. mmmmmm noodles!
| Like the average college student, i've been very tired this week. Unlike the average college student, it's mostly due to Too Much sleep.
